hehehe. you guys

are funny :p. One of my first post about rebuilding injectors I asked about the heat shields. Most responded nahhhhhh.... dont wory... they dont need replacing. Half way thru the project someone said... yeahhh.. you should... but it was too late to order them by then. (closet dealer 2 hours away). Oh well...... I love ya anyway.LOL. I am still looking into brand new injectors from Ghruka. If I do that I will get new H.shields then too. I want to try a different spray nozzle. One used on the G-Wagens and industrial trucks that had 617's. Should work better with WVO. Slightyly different spray pattern and suposedly cleans better. I'll go whole matching injector sets when I do this.

Well changing the return hoses may have started a leak if you scored the barb while using a razor to slice the hose in order to get it off.

I did read something about this earlier (THANKS to whom ever mentioned it before) so I did my best to not do score the length of the barb. I could have still done so though.
Think I'll pull that injector. break it apart and reclean it and its H. Shield and Reassmble, Reinstall to torque settings again. I'll silicon the barb edges "lightly" before reinstalling the hose maybe? I did no have a crows foot to torque the ends of the caps to 25nm as perscribed but I for sure did not whale on them.
