Hello all... hopefully someone will know the answer to this.
On a number of American cars I have owned, the addition of DRLs is as easy as removing a shorting "plug" and plugging in the DRL module used on cars meant for Canadian use. No fuss; easy. I suspect the manufacturers save money by having a single harness instead of two.
My S500 does not have DRLs, but I see in the wiring diagrams that on Canadian versions, there is a DRL module located in the console/dash area.
Can I just buy the correct DRL module and plug it in, or are the harnesses different?? Anybody know?
