Okay, dumb question time. I just got a new lower belt tension adjuster for my 87 300SDL. On the old one the bearing was packed with grease like a wheel bearing. The new one appears dry (at least on the outside). Do these need packed with grease before installation? The old one was missing the plastic cover, so I am not sure if somebody packed it with grease in lieu of the cover or what. Thanks in advance for the help.
