If you have a meter that reads duty cycle, you should be sure to set it on duty cycle, not voltage.

The ideal reading is about 50%. If you are reading duty cycle and seeing from 79.9% to 99.9% you need to make lambda adjustments.

At least these are the proper readings for the late 80's/early '90's 300E.

Perhaps the '85 190E is different?
