I confess to knowing exactly squat about gasers, I thought I only counted 5 spark plugs, but it was definantly a twin OHC motor.


Anyway, it'd be nice if the driveshaft is close, but that's not a deal breaker really, they can be fixed if you find the right shop.

So, I'd need a clutch and flywheel from? 240D?

This is assuming I don't have the pilot bearing size problem I've read about, but I'll cross that bridge if I come to it, not like 300D's are rare I guess.

Wild guess, what would be a fair price for all the stuff off the car needed for the conversion, excluding the rear end? It was a fairly low mile car as I recall. 100K give or take, I was surprised how good the shift pattern still felt.
