One of those little teutonic design quirks I've been living with on my MY2000 Mel is that the front switches support auto down but not up. The rears are not automatic at all.

I've read that we can buy the entire switch plate, or need to, and retrofit the function. That has some drawbacks in control placement I believe and certainly cost. Gilly, isn't there any way to simply purchase the individual switches and relays needed and install them. I'd settle for auto-up on the fronts being my only gain! What would this take to do...
