There was a piece in a recent Star issue asking about an ASR defeat switch (I can check the issue at home).

The reply in the Star was that you could disable ASR at the brake pedal switch. There are two circuts there one to put the brake lights on and the other to disable the ASR (so its not trying to do its thing when you are applying the brakes).

This sounds like a vastly simpler method than the ones recently discussed in forums here. I'm planning on trying it in the spring when I get my 400E on the road.

Has anyone here put an ASR defeat switch using the brake switch?
