Is there any way to make any modifications to the automatic transmission in the W123 turbo diesels so you can start out in 2nd gear. I've heard some of the newer M-B's do this. I'd like to be able to have a 2nd gear start in my turbo diesel especially during the icy & wet times because in 1st gear the car usually spins its tires when starting out in any slick conditions even with studded snow tires.
