This approach does NOT work on LH cars with ASR. I doubt it works on HFM cars either. It is part of a solution that can work on the old CIS-E cars with ASR.

LH cars will still throttle back the car based upon the wheel speed signals.

BergWerks is now selling the DIY kit, similar to the one put together by Mike Curcio on this board so the kudos go to him, for $300. It includes a Mercedes "ASR Off" switch and plug, all the wiring need to install along with the directions.
