I called Bosch yesterday and they told me it was the same part. The guy gave me a bunch of MBZ part numbers and said he didn't know why they changed them as the part was the same.
So I plugged it in.
So far so good. Drove the car hard for a couple of hours and it ran normal again, normal numbers too. Has been starting fine since.
Looks like she's fixed

Now I can get to work on some smaller problems.

UK- fuel pressure checked out fine one year ago. Idle seems fine.
