my neighbor's brother's '66 912, for which I did an engine overhaul about 18 years ago -- if it every begins to burn oil again, I'd love to see if a VW turbodiesel, laid on its side as they were in the Vanagon Diesels, could fit back there. But the car is getting a bit too rusty to worry about, I'm afraid.
