Not too hard to come up with a work plan.
Get the car inspected by an MB person you trust. Ask for a work plan and prices for anything they find.
Get an idea of the working price by surveying Kelley BlueBook, Edmunds and NADA. Adjust for needed repairs/replacements (ie rims).
From those, if you're still interested, proceed to negotiate.
Realize that the PO is probably a guy who took good care of it otherwise but is about my age and getting used to his first bifocals.
