from 85 on up. i was told i needed a 87=88 motor for my 88 190e 2.3. the 91 engine does not work? ,but has the same engine number. going to bone yard tuesday. some of the motors do not have a body to them. hate to go to all the trouble installing a motor that will not work. can i put the 91 in using my manifolds.
any help would be nice . don't trust the person at the yard to know . he should, but i want to do this one time if possible.
did any 88's have a dual roller timing chain, mine does not.
