M104 valve-guide & headgasket ?
While getting a new headgasket for my C36 engine, my "new" tech said that some of the valve-guides on the C36 M104 AMG engine are loose.
Do I replace *ALL* of them, or just the problem ones?
Also, when you replace the valve guides, do you have to re-surface/cut the respective valves and valve-seats so you have a good seal again?
My thought is that when replacing the valve-guides, you can't get the valve exactly positioned and seated where it was previously, so you need to re- surface/cut the valves & valve-seats for a perfect fit/seat/seal.
Also, anything else I should check or replace while doing the head-gasket?
