Just yesterday my friend and i have agreed to restore a car together. Since we have little experience around cars and none is restoration we decided to work on a pre-'66 VW Beetle. I relize a beetle is no MB finnie, but its a huge start given our college student budgets. Plus, restoring a beetle should be easier than any other car restoration project since parts and knowledge should be easier/cheaper to attain.

If this project goes through, I'd like to work on a 4-cylinder finnie or a early BMW 2002 next.
