Hey Everbody,

I asked this questions once before in a different form, but I didn't get a response. I tried doing a search, I promise! So if anybody would be willing to help me out, it would be much appreciated.

I local shop has an engine that I think will work with my project car. Mine is an '81 300D (NA) and the engine is from an '84 300 Turbo. Can I just drop it in? Will it play OK with my current trans or should they be done as a pair? Do I also need to get my hands on the exhaust from the turbo? Anything else I should be aware of?
