it never ceases to amaze me how simple much of car maintenance. of course, what a great idea, actually, i did pull the plugs and they weren't wet but very sooty.

but at what stage of me trying to sort it out this happened i can't remember as i was trying for so long. but as soon as the engine stalls this time i'll whip them out and have a look.
