I'm assuming the arm rest is off the car and you are attempting to remove the vinyl cover? Correct? Ok, at the back on older cars, there was a zipper. Now it's a plastic chanel and a mating welt piece of plastic. So, a U piece with a lipped chanel that fits inside. Use a small screwdriver to open up the U piece slightly and work out the inner piece. Compressing the rest takes tension off the ends making it easier to work with...
