According to this website below, the glow plug relay has the same part number for 300SD 81-85 and the 300D 81-85. The glow plugs also show the same part number. I feel that I can find a realy from either a 300D from those years or an SD.http://www.adsitco.com/newdesign/default.asp?CID=85
