That is the reason I bought it. I needed a "winter" car and the Quattro system is incredible.

The car , although, is very different.

The Audi is fast to leap off the line. If you just tap the gas it lunges forward. I guess I am still not used to starting in 1st gear.

I find on the highway it does not pull through every gear like the 500E. The gears seem taller. You know how the 500E will pull 3rd gear the same as 2nd gear....just ruthless power no matter what the speed? The Audi seems to take a long time to get through 3rd. I do still have all of the factory settings and chips. I read that there is a "sport mode" that I need to program as well as a chip.

The Audi is a great car and exactly what I need. I just don't see myself hitting 130 EVERY TIME I DRIVE HOME again.....alas.

P.S. The cup holders and heated streering wheel are nice.
