1999 E-320, 76K miles. My wife noticed a squeak that sounded a little bit like a belt or water pump. I looked at it the next day and the balancer was wobbling, rubber insert bulging out. I've complained at NHTSA and have the part in hand. I'm waiting for the balancer tool to hold it in place.



I'm impressed (not) with what I've found on the internet regarding M-B and this issue. I wish my wife didn't like the car as much as she does.
