Ok, 300D then.
Clanking can be anything from a bad injector (nailing) to a spun bearing. You'll need somebody who knows diesels well enough to listen to it in person. But if you're absolutely sure it is coming from the bottom end, then that more than likely means a rebuild or replacement engine.
(edit) Someone who knows Diesels and whom you can trust!
