Irony is not asymmetrical here. Its ironic that the Shah's downfall and the ayatollah's downfall may both be related to their relations with the USA. What we see as irony they see as a malevolent ploy by the Great Satan. Ironic that the sanctimonious, God-fearing, shariah-following, butchering, exporters of terrorism will fall before Great Satan. How do they know which is Satanic, anyway?
