'99 ML320: The part replaced on mine back in June 2002 was 112-035-08-00, so if the is the bad one is known to be 112-035-00-00 and the new one is 112-035-13-00, then it looks that there has been several revisions in-between which makes me think that the last one may not be 100% corrected. Hopefully if there is a re-call there will be a final new and improved design.

In the meanwhile, I was told that the HB should be marked with white paint and inspect regularly even for an insignificant sign of slipage. Does this makes any sense?
