Oh fer cryin' out loud, it's not a giant liberal plot to indoctrinate children with communism. Geez, and we lefties are slapped for overreacting to things?

It's just plain tough to manage a group of children where one is bringing their toys, candy, etc. and causes the whole group to go into a "feeding frenzy" over it.

Any system is only worth what you're willing to put into it. Put little or nothing into public education, watch it fail, and then declare that it failed due to it's being "public."

As I said, Yawn. This topic has been done to death here, and the current thread is nothing new. It's just further nitpicking about public education.
