Hardly. The reason many private schools are expensive now is because there are so few of them, and there is little competition. If ALL schools are private, then competition and other factors can lower the costs.
I know, you guys are terrified of free-market ideas, so you won't like this at all....
I am VERY FAR from being "wealthy", and my daughter's mother has gone from having almost NO income, to now having a very modest income as well, but we've had no problem sending her to a quality private school, where she is doing exceptionally well, and she is not being shot at, "zero-toleranced", being offered drugs on a daily basis, or being taught to downplay her achievements so as not of "offend" the underachievers.
