I think you're right; I need to pull the cluster to see whether something is fried back there - My guess is really that something has "tapped into" the light somehow, since it works in a different way when I remove one of the fuses..
Just pulling the light without figuring out what's causing it is no option for me - I need to know that things work properly! One thing is for sure; I am sure as hell going to install the fire-extinguisher I bought recently, electrical problems is no joke!
