I have the opertunity to purchace as much of a 2 door 280SL exhaust system as I want/can use. The rear and center muffler look identical in pictures to what my 280SEL has. The front exhaust pipe(s) [the pair] seem the same design but to short.

Question: can I use the Mufflers and pipes which go over the axle?
