Yeah, pretty much.
I started with a brand new chassis that was never finished and built it up from there. I'm going first class this time. High quality wiring and connectors, braided SS lines with AN fittings for every hose, an awesome engine with EFI and even a Racepak data logger fully loaded! All the aluminum parts are currently being either anodized, chromed or Jet hot coated. Even the inside of the body panels have been painted.

That’s cool, Tell me a little about your rail, I would like to hear about it. My dad has been racing since the late 60's and got me into the sport. I have been driving our 67 Camaro. (seen in background.) for a while now. Although it runs mid 9's and pulls a two and a half foot wheel stand on launch, it doesn't beat a Super Comp dragster! The acceleration is absolutely incredible!!! My dad and I just got our NHRA license in Gainesville Last spring for super comp. We can't wait to get back out there.

Same Here man! I just love dragsters. I think there very unique, light weight and usually loaded with HP and, without a question, a babe magnet.

As for the display, it's called a crossover. A crossover basically matches your ET with the guy in the other lane if he is slower than you. It is very helpful in bracket racing, if you run faster than your stated ET you "break out" loose. It controls this via a pneumatic throttle stop. ( An extra set of butterfly valves.) This restricts the flow of fuel/air to the engine thus slowing you down. The crossover sets shift points rpm limit and transbrake as well. Even though I am running a 2 speed automatic transmission the gears are manually shifted with a pneumatic solenoid controlled by the crossover. The transbrake basically sets the trans in reverse and first gear at the same time. This is done so you can get a perfect launch. So, the crossover locks the trans and sets a rev limit so you can mash down on the gas and the the engine spools up for maximum torque just before the torque converter kicks in. With all this, all you have to do to make an awesome run is release the right button on the steering wheel, the transbrake releases and the engine proceeds to redline until you shift or let off the gas!
It all sounds more complicated than it actually is but it's cool/fun either way. I cannot wait to get more into the tuning part.
