I agree, I enjoy being different myself. That's why I’m torbocharging my 300E! Through automotive history many high performance turbo diesels have been used for endurance races, successfully I might add. However diesels are not practical in drag racing applications due to their slow revving. Another reason I like dragsters is that none of them are identical. They are all custom and need the builders engineering and creativity. Anyway, Good Luck with your diesel project and keep us posted!
