Beach experience with 2000 ML320

I have experienced some fun beach experiences South of St. Augustine on Florida's east coast. She performed well in both low and high range transfer speed. Beach conditions were packed with some fluff.

However, here's another experience I'm not too pleased about. Last year I was horse playing at America's most beuatiful beach, Grayton Beach in the Florida panhandle. The sand is very deep and unforgiving, the vehicle was heavy, and roof top storage box full. Got in the sand and moved, but got into deeper sand not wet though. She bogged down. Tried to rock her forward and back but she just got deeper and deeper. Pissed me off when I saw landcruisers cruising around with no problem. Finally some beach goers came to my rescue. pushed and pushed and finally broke from the pit. Be careful in deep sand. Fortunately, the tide was going out..........
