A 300E on propane? Cool.

It is possible to manually adjust the air/fuel mixture. But you need at least a tool to measure the CO level from the exhaust while doing it.
I had an old MB tech (he really was old) do this on my 300E. He needed a 1 ft long extension on the adjustment key, to be able to turn the adjustment screw in small enough increments.
1/10 of a full turn on that screw will 'screw up' your mixture totally! So go very slow.
