Yes, but is your Regal N/A or supercharged? I don't think it's really fair to compare N/A with forced induction. If you want to talk supercharged numbers the C32 is a supercharged V-6 and it'll romp a 1/4 mile in something like 12.8 seconds. Not to mention that your Regal is 5-7 years newer than a 500E.

don't forget that the 500E was designed to be an Autobahn cruiser, not a drag racer. typical of most MB "supercars" the 500E is at its best when cruising between 80 & 120mph and can really drop the hammer in mid-range acceleration. it has a very flat & broad torque curve where close to 90% of the 354 lbs-ft are available before 3000 rpm and almost all the way to redline.

it takes a bit (not much) to get the car going, but when it's on cam, it's pretty tough to beat. standing 1/4 mile is respectable, but from a rolling start, the 500E is enormously tough for other cars of the same vintage to catch up.

Most american built performance cars tend to be quick is a straight line but absolute $h!t when it comes to handling. the 500E is a master at high speed handling.
