I've used the so-called cheap after-market 74mm oil wrenches successfully on the dealer filter, Mahle-Knecht and Hengst.
My cheapie is a bit snug on the Mann filter, but gets the job done.
You really do not need to bear down on the filter when installing.
No need to spend $20-$25 on an oil filter removal tool.
