I finally reinstalled the master cylinder on my 1959 M-B 220S. I fitted three new brake flex hoses. I am a bit stumped by how to gain access to the fitting nearest the engine on the flex hose on the front passenger side. This is the male fitting on the steel line next to the upper muffler. How does one reach that? So far, I have removed the air cleaner and upended myself over the carburetor and tried to get my hand there. Needs a contotionist with small hands without arthritis. Any bright ideas? Doug.
