I'm a faithful user since the Alison days and I'm very happy with the product. The XR3000 model is the deluxe model that allows auto shutoff of the box when ignition is on but engine not started. This situation can burn out the coil or the transistor in the ignition box in a few minutes. The 3000 also allows you to use full 12V to the coil without ballast and for me it made a big difference with the new Bosch electronic ignition coil.

I bought mine from the Crane website at the garage sale page where returned units go at a discount. If there are none, write in and see of they have any.
