Ewww. That's hard to do...and, the stupid FSM is no help either. All it says to do is "Disconnect bowden wire from water valve."
Yeah, right.
I used the jaws of a pair of diagonal cutters to carefully slide the coiled end of the bowden cable off of the ones I have. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
OTOH, if you're replacing the valve, doesn't it come with new arms? If so, just clip the the nub off of the arm and push it out of the coiled end.
