And I did not mean to stir up a hornets nest. Iv'e owned a Jag, 2 porsches a lotus Europa a 240 Z and many other fast cars presently I have a Euro 500 SE and a 454 Chevy Blazer as well as my three diesels.

I belive that there are situations where the posted speed limit is a joke.And I have driven over the limit many times . (in 47 years of driving I have never had a moving violation)

My irritation was the gentlemans approach to to the police and the judge and the fact that it was in a 35 mph zone. That to me is a whole lot different than an experenced driver with a proper car that has the right tires,brakes etc going 115 on a deserted section of hiway with no passengers.

I do voulunteer work for out countys Sherrifs Dept.And can tell you that the Deputies and State Police in this county are of the highest caliber and should I be caught going over the limit I would treat them with respect that they deserve......
