Bill.
I had promised myself to drop this and not post anymore, but I think I ought to just answer some of your questions.
*I'm not here to debate or argue. I'm not here to troll* And this response is only for your benefit. So can we please not make a million more posts?*
I am not a youngster and, most unfortunately in your eyes, I have already "spawned" and have two fine adult children, one of whom is about to get married and "spawn" more speeding maniacs.
I am telling the whole truth, but you needn't believe me and I can go quietly into the night. I apologize for offending your senses. I have no motivation or time to "look cool." I'm frankly way past that age.
It was not in the state of North Carolina in which my wife sped. It was in the Appalachian mountains in West Virginia. There were no speed limits posted. Well, it was still outrageous speeding if the road were to have a 55 mph speed limit. BUt the road was truly uphill and it was straight. On both sides were forest.
My wife was in one of her father's car, and yes, good old grandpa has a long glorious history of ticking off the police in fast automobiles.
I live outside New York City in Connecticut and we were there for just a little countryside R&R. Due to the traffic and potholes, its rough trying to even drive 45 mph on a New York City highway.
Back to my contempt for law enforcement. Its good that you respect them that much. I once did but, due certain tragic events in NYC, I have lost all respect. Now, I'm not going to share that and start a whole new flame-fest. And be falsely accused of being a bald faced liar to boot. I don't need that.
I made a little joke about "I need help." It relates to my love addiction to MB cars. I removed it because sharing about cars in this environment is no fun. So, I won't even begin talking about cars.
You make it sound like I have some illicit drug habit.
I didn't get the ticket nor did I get "arrested," so my contemptous behavior could not "influence my future."
I am sure you hate me even more now. Since it was unbecoming conduct, my wife requests that I ask you why don't you move to get her disbarred from the legal profession as well?
