My owner’s manual (560) says to fill the power steering reservoir with automatic transmission fluid. Mine appears to have power steering fluid in the reservoir. I need to add fluid, what kind of power steering fluid is acceptable in Benz? Please recommend something found in after-market, I live 50 plus miles from Benz dealer.

Planning to take car into dealer for headgasket replacement (both leak). Nearest dealer is Noble Cars in Fredericksburg VA, anyone have any feed back on the quality of their service? Service will be on an 86 so it is important that they have worked on the old stuff. Thanks for the info,
