Mine does the exact same thing. I haven't had a chance to really deal with it, but I have noticed that the sensor wire is loose at the pressure sender. Not sure if that's the problem, or the sender, or what, but I would figure if it's the connection, it'd peg the needle in N, D, or P (just in D, idling).
