Hi: I understand that the 500E lights will physically fit in the 300E, but the wiring is different. I would think that you would have to hook up the fog light leads to the driving light bulbs of the 500E headlamp units, I have been told they use the same bulb/wattage, but use a clear lens and have a different reflector. They are supposedly pretty hard to get. If you can't find them, you can use the 300E Euros, and install some of Hella driving lamps under the bumper if you want more high beam light.
