DieselAddict, I wasn't trying to personally counter your statement that it is stupid to drive an SUV nor do I take any offense to it. Please don't feel I am trying make an attack on your post. I agree there are many arogant SUV drivers that have an attitude toward those who drive smaller cars. IMO any car can be a danger to another car if they are not driven responsibly. I like the visibilty that our SUV provides us and I feel much safer driving it while encountering the stupid SUV drivers that I have to share the road with. I know I don't own the roads and that's why I share them. I just wanted to make a point as to why I own one and also that the one I own is no more a threat to the environment than most other commonly driven vehicles.
