In europe is a manufacturer of all kinds of unnecessary car-options called MHW.
They have a C-class grill adapter in their delivery program that needs to be welded to the original bonnet of your car. In this adapter a C-class grill ("93-"97 or "97-"00 or "avantgarde") can be installed.

It does need some welding and repainting the complete bonnet is definitely necessary.
