The socket for the second pic holds the tachometer amplifier. The #1 is if my memory serves the bus connector for the tach, and the #3 in that photo is the glow plug timer. If you take the plastic cover off there is a flat shiny fuse that will blow from time to time and make it very hard to start all of the sudden,
