Nerve conduction tests hurt like Hell ! Don`t let anyone tell you different. I have had a total of 5 , both upper and lower extremitys. A MRI can tell them all they need to know.
While sleeping I raised my arm over my head and woke up screeming from the pain. The second time I was riding in the back seat of a lincoln and it just poped. the third time I was lifiting a plastic file crate from the floor to the seat of my car.
Now because of pain and spasams in my neck shoulders and arms, I sleep about 45 minutes at a time.
Before my last fusion I tried Discographys at 4-5 didn`t help and when the steroids kicked in it was bloody hell.
Why did it happen? They don`t know, but I was a Water Ski Jumper in my early 20`s and raced Karts as a teen. Once while jumping I broke my ankle took 3 more jumps and walked around on it for 3 days before getting it looked at. The Disc`s hurt worse!!!
