Thanks Gilly. The more I look at it, the more I think RPM55 is on the right track. If it was a firewall item I would think it would be torn or something because what happened to the wires that fed through it? There is a slight stain ring on the 3 hole side too. Also - I've been swapping my snow tires off and on with the forecast (idiot weathermen!) so maybe it happened as I was changing tires.
