am I the only one who's gonna ask this? What car were you in? I've gotten a ticket for 64 in a 35 (two lanes on both sides, no houses or kids), and I've gotten pulled over for doing 110 (no ticket), and both times I think I was perfectly safe while doing so. I do agree that the police officers were much nicer than they needed to be (64 in 35 gave me $130 ticket which shoulda been much more w/ possible licence suspension, and 110 cop let me off completely), but I think that some speed limits are a "quick fix" to a greater problem of driver safety. If more drivers were considerate and careful while driving, we wouldn't have to have such rediculously low speed limits. Just my opinion.
