I thouhgt single action involved only one action. I thought double action involved pulling the trigger the entire length needed to pull back and drop the hammer as well. Much like a revolver that doesnt have the hammer pulled back. Its a longer pull. Sindle action is when the hammer is already pulled back, you just pull the trigger enough to drop the hammer....
