Hi all,

I'm needing help on my SL500, the battery died this past weekend, so I went ahead and plugged in a battery charger for the entire day. Saw that the battery was fully charged I hooked up the battery cables and tried starting the car, it would crank but not start, I first thought it was a fuel cut off feature. So I phoned CODE ALARM and they advise that none of their products use a fuel cutt off, instead they use a starter dis-able. With that in mind, that ruled out the alarm system. I left the battery disconnected over night, and this morning I connected the battery, and the car started right up.

I brought the car to work and used it to run some errands and it gave me no problems.

During lunch, I decide to take a drive, tried starting the car but again it will crank but no start.

I'm confused and with a head ache


Any help would be great.
